Wake up, dino time.
Coloring time!
This Shortcut to import Switch screenshots is pretty handy! I set up an automation so it runs as soon as I join the switch Wi-Fi network.
Playing around with ProRAW on our walk yesterday.
I have mixed feelings about Project Monarch. As a Mac user forced to use Outlook, the current inconsistencies across platforms make me crazy. But it’s hard to imagine this will feel nearly as native at the current client.
These Mac App Store failures on Mojave have been making me crazy. “cancelled” is an incredibly unhelpful error message.
Finally set up Big Sur on a spare machine yesterday. I’ve never had an issue with iCloud contact sync, but this morning I found duplicates of every contact.
iOS Scanner Apps
I just discovered that PDFpen Scan+ was discontinued, and went on a mini quest to find a replacement. I landed on Scanner Pro.
I also considered:
- Adobe Scan, but it will only store scans to the Adobe cloud.
- Microsoft Office Lens, but this seems tailored to the OneDrive environment.
- ScanPro, but the price is too steep for my frequency of use.
Scanner Pro works with most of the cloud environments, so I have it pointed at a folder in Dropbox that gets slurped into my inbox. A scan can also be initiated from Shortcuts, so I’ve removed the app from my homescreen.
I should’ve tossed this frosting before election night. 🤦♂️
